Immediately Job Description Provide individualized or small-group support to students to help them complete classroom assignments, homework, and other academic tasks. Assist teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and instructional activities across academic and behavioral domains. Support the development of a calm, structured, and respectful classroom environment that promotes learning and positive behavior. Assist with behavior management by teaching and reinforcing problem-solving skills, providing consistent support, and implementing de-escalation techniques when needed. Actively participate in social skills instruction, activities of daily living, community outings, and work-study experiences, helping students generalize skills across settings. Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and other school staff regarding student progress in academic, social, and behavioral areas. Support students' engagement and success in inclusive classrooms, facilitating their participation alongside peers whenever possible. Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and other documentation as needed to inform instruction and IEP goals. Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, therapists, and administrators, to implement individualized strategies that meet students' needs. Perform other duties as assigned by administration to support the success and well-being of students Must be willing to become CPI certified
