Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Special Education Instructional Assistant to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students. Assist with academic, behavioral, social, and classroom activities. Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation. Work closely with Special Education Teachers and school staff. Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Support implementation of student IEP goals and classroom strategies. Monitor and communicate student progress and concerns.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred. Special education, childcare, behavioral, or classroom experience is a plus. Strong communication, patience, reliability, and teamwork skills.
