Assistant Preschool Teacher:

We are seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Assistant Teacher to support classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience or prior training in Early Childhood Education and a genuine interest in helping children learn and grow. The responsibilities of the Assistant Teacher/Aide include the following: Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the guidance of the Head Teacher. Assist in supervision and insuring the safety and well-being of classroom children at all times, being alert to the needs and/or concerns of the children as individuals and as a group. Report to the teacher or Center Director any cases of suspected child abuse or neglect Report to the teacher or Center Director any special needs or concerns of individual child or parent Assist the classroom teachers as directed, including, but not limited to the following: Planning curriculum in detail for assigned classroom Implementing the daily program for assigned classroom Decorating classroom bulletin boards, pictures, children's artwork and other items Help to maintain a neat and orderly classroom environment Minimum Job Requirements At least six months of experience or prior training in Early Childhood Education. Ability to effectively interact and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate manner. Must be sensitive to individual children's differences and needs, and be willing to adjust the program & curriculum to meet those individual needs. Must be motivated to learn and grow in an educational environment; and be willing to continually increase knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education. Must be able to relate with and speak to parents in a respectful and courteous manner. Must be willing to work in a team environment; be willing to share ideas & be open to other's ideas; be flexible & willing to compromise.

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$15.50 - $16.50 per hour
