Overview We are a small family owned and run childcare center, seeking a passionate, dedicated and reliable teacher aide to join our team. This candidate would float through our classrooms(ages vary from infants to young school age). The ideal candidate will help create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, be a team player who is dependable and consistent in attendance, flexible, and has the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Hours would vary weekly between 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday but flexible with schedule! Potential for more hours available on occasion if desired! Must be 18 or older. Responsibilities Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery through play! Assist teachers in classroom management-ensuring a positive atmosphere. Provide care for children including assistance with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, and nap time. Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being. Help to maintain a clean and organized classroom and center space. Covering teachers lunch breaks and/or out of classroom time(planning, trainings etc) or covering a classroom if a teacher is out.

Preferred Skills:

Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills. Good communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and other staff. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students and staff. First Aid/CPR certified preferred Monthly bonus currently available for all eligible staff through the Wage Supplement Program.

•Must be willing to obtain fingerprinting eligibility requirement upon hire. Hire is contingent on passing fingerprinting/background check.
