Job Description
POSITION TITLE
Part-Time Paraprofessional - Middle/High School Monday - Friday 10:00am-3:00pmQUALIFICATIONS
Must have the ability to work as a team member- Must have the ability to take and follow direction from a certified staff member
- Flexibility is essential
- Prefer previous experience working with students, especially students with special needs
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Must be professional, discreet and confidential
- Criminal background check including fingerprinting required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Care for and supervise Middle School & High School age children with varying needs
- 1:1 setting as well as small groups
- Communicate well with parents, staff and students
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Follow the instructions of coordinating teachers(s)
- Provide students with a friendly and safe environment
