working with children 4 to 5 years old and the schedule would be 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday Salary $18.00 - $20.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Full-Time Benefits Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Child Enrollment Discounts Professional Development Opportunities Continuing Education Assistance Job Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans that align with the GSRP curriculum frameworks. Facilitate small group and one-on-one instruction to reinforce skills and concepts taught in the classroom. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the Lead Teacher regarding individual student needs. Contribute to the ongoing assessment of student development and learning through observation and documentation. Assist in preparing reports and maintaining records as needed for student assessments. Support behavioral management strategies and assist in resolving conflicts as they arise among students. Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by organizing materials and resources effectively. Work closely with the Lead Teacher and other staff members to promote team cohesion and effective collaboration. Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the school. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students. Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff. Conduct home visits to build relationships with families Qualifications - Must meet one of the following: Actively pursuing a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or a degree in a related field with a signed compliance plan to complete within 1 to 3 years A completed Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or a degree in a related field Grandfathered 120-

Hour Approval:

An existing 120-clock-hour MDE/MiLEAP approval letter, provided there has been no break in GSRP service. Additional Required Qualifications 1 year of experience working in a GSRP Program preferred but open to candidates with preschool experience Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility Must be at least 18 years of age or older
