Position Overview:

Montessori Radmoor Middle School is seeking a caring, dependable, and collaborative Part-Time Assistant to join our middle school team. This position provides direct support to students and adolescent guides throughout the school day. The Assistant plays an important role in helping maintain a productive learning environment while encouraging independence, responsibility, and positive relationships among students. Responsibilities

• Assist lead guides with classroom organization and daily operations.
• Support students as they work on individual and collaborative projects.
• Help prepare materials and learning spaces.
• Provide supervision during lunch and outdoor open/recess periods.
• Assist with field studies, special events, and community activities as needed.
• Model respectful communication and positive interactions with adolescents. Ideal Candidates Are
• Kind, patient, and dependable.
• Comfortable working with middle school-aged students.
• Organized and proactive.
• Able to work collaboratively with educators and families.
• Willing to support a variety of academic, creative, and practical activities.

Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational, recreational, or youth development setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
