Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and fostering their development. This role involves working with infants up to preschool-aged children, helping them learn through play and structured activities while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space that is conducive to learning. Provide first aid as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred. Proficient in behavior management techniques to support children's social skills. Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning. Experience in toddler care, including understanding their unique needs and behaviors. Familiarity with first aid practices to ensure children's safety at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children in a classroom setting.
