JOB DUTIES:
Assist student(s) in the classroom, in the lunchroom or on the playground Supervise student(s) to ensure safety
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals
Good communication skills Ability to interact positively with students and staff Experience dealing with children of all ability levels Must be able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to interact with students while standing, sitting on chair and sitting on floor Must be able to react quickly to students changing needs
Attach passing exam scores from either the ParaPra / ParaEducator or college transcripts to your application.

Noon Hour (Lunchroom and Playground).............................................................$16.50 Instructional/Special Education/Title I/ECSE..........................................................$18.00 Earned Sick & Safe Time (in accordance with MN Statute 181.9446)

To register for one of the following orientation sessions, please send an email to paige.mattson@isd47.org ( Subject line: Sub Orientation-Para ) no later than 48 hours before the session you would like to attend. Include your name as listed on your application, the date of the orientation session you would like to attend and a contact phone number. Orientation meetings will be held in the District Office Curriculum Center located at the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School (1833 Osauka Road NE, Door 2, second floor) on the following dates and times: Septebmer 10, 2026 9:00 a.m. Septebmer 24, 2026 2:30 p.m. October 8, 2026 9:00 a.m. October 21, 2026 2:30 p.m. November 5, 2026 9:00 a.m. December 3, 2026 2:30 p.m. January 14, 2027 9:00 a.m. February 4, 2027 2:30 p.m. February 18, 2027 9:00 a.m. March 10, 2027 2:30 p.m. Orientation Sessions will last approximately one-hour.
