9687389-65326 Job Description Make an immediate impact working in a fulfilling onsite contract position as a paraprofessional supporting students in a high-needs educational environment. This opportunity offers a full school year assignment, beginning as soon as possible, and is conveniently located near Edwards, MO. In this role, you will first provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student accompanied by a nurse for several hours each day, then transition to assist throughout a high-needs classroom. You'll engage directly with students, working alongside educators to foster an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous paraprofessional experience within a school setting preferred Ability to work effectively one-on-one and support students with diverse, intensive needs Comfortable adapting to dynamic classroom situations and collaborating with both teachers and healthcare professionals Strong communication, patience, and relationship-building abilities Must be dependable and ready to begin work immediately

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent support and guidance for assigned student with medical needs during 1:1 hours Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies Offer hands-on support within a high-needs classroomfacilitating academic, social, and emotional development Attend to student safety and daily living needs as required Maintain accurate notes and participate in team meetings for continuity of care and instructional planning Follow school protocols and schedules, working Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break If you are ready to make a difference in the lives of students who need enthusiastic, compassionate support, your dedication is encouraged and valued.
