9696017-59485 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role as an on-site facilitator supporting a virtual Special Education Teacher within a dynamic 7th-12th grade environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact, working closely with a small, manageable caseload of 14 students. You'll be at the heart of day-to-day learning, helping students succeed academically and personally through collaboration and hands-on guidance.

Responsibilities:

Serve as an in-person liaison, ensuring effective communication between students and the virtual Special Education Teacher Assist with classroom management, organization, and accommodations tailored to each students individual needs Support students in accessing digital instruction and assistive technologies Provide encouragement and one-on-one help to foster student engagement and independence Monitor progress and report important observations or challenges to the Special Education Teacher Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere facilitating learning and development

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Previous paraprofessional or aide experience in a school setting is highly valued Passion for working with middle and high school students, especially those receiving special education services Competency with technology for virtual learning support Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patient, adaptable, and detail-oriented High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications a plus
