Key Qualifications & Experience:

Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Technician, or Behavior Specialist in educational settings Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies, applied behavior analysis, or related methodologies Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective student support High level of patience, empathy, and commitment to student success Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) High school diploma/GED required; additional certifications (such as RBT or similar) highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement behavioral intervention plans under supervision, supporting students learning and development Assist with classroom management and redirection of challenging behaviors Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioral or social needs Track student progress and document behavioral data as required Collaborate closely with teachers, behavior analysts, and other educational professionals Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages positive student interactions
