The Valley Child Development Center is seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children and committed to supporting each child's unique developmental, social, emotional, and educational needs. Position Overview The successful candidate will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. This position requires an individual who is dependable, patient, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care to children. Support each child's individual developmental needs and milestones. Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities and experiences. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Communicate professionally and respectfully with families, coworkers, and supervisors. Observe and document children's progress and share relevant information with families and staff. Follow all center policies, procedures, and applicable child care regulations. Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide high-quality care and education. Qualifications A genuine interest in working with young children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, dependability, and a positive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Previous child care or early childhood education experience is preferred. Relevant education, training, or certifications are a plus.
