Key qualifications and experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or closely related environment is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students and staff Ability to provide individualized assistance, monitor student progress, and adapt to diverse learning needs Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a supportive educational team Reliability and commitment to consistent attendance throughout the school year What youll be doing: Supporting students with IEPs directly in classroom settings Assisting teachers with behavior management, instruction, and various classroom activities Helping create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all learners Monitoring and encouraging student participation and engagement Providing one-on-one or small group support as directed Documenting student progress and communicating observations to the educational team Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times This position starts immediately, following the school day schedule from approximately 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The assignment continues through the end of the school year in June, provided the placement is successful and fulfilling for both you and the team.
