Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is preferred Ability to work effectively one-on-one with students, supporting diverse learning needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable assisting with confirming age and supporting special education requirements Reliability, patience, and adaptability in fast-paced educational environments High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct support to students, aiding with academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to adapt materials and strategies Implement individualized learning plans under the guidance of certified staff Support transitions throughout the school day, helping students stay engaged and focused Maintain student safety and confidentiality at all times
