Job Description

Part-Time Classroom Assistant, Dahlia Montessori (Allenhurst, NJ) Dahlia Montessori, a small Montessori school in Allenhurst, is hiring a part-time classroom assistant. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone warm, reliable, and patient who enjoys being around young children. Responsibilities Supervise lunch and nap time for a small group of children ages 3-6 Support the dismissal process Complete light tasks around the school while children rest Schedule and pay Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 4:30 PM $20 per hour No formal benefits at this time, but we're a small, supportive team that understands life happens. When you need to be out for an appointment or a family obligation, we work together to cover it. Who we're looking for Patience is the heart of this role. Nap time with young children calls for someone calm, steady, and gentle, even on the wiggly days. Ensuring that every child is treated with warmth and kindness is our top priority, right alongside their safety. Experience working with children is a plus but not required.
