Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated lead or assistant Infant, Toddler, Twos, and/or Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team at either our Bordentown or Hamilton school locations. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, supporting their growth and development during their crucial early years. Your enthusiasm for working with young children and your expertise in childhood development will inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning from the very beginning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains. Ensure the safety and well-being of infants at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures. Provide attentive care that includes feeding, diapering, soothing, and engaging with infants to support their individual needs. Maintain detailed records of each infant's daily activities, milestones, and health updates to communicate effectively with parents and caregivers. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies tailored to infants. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood education principles and developmental goals. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive caregiving practices. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Experience working in preschool, daycare, or nannying environments with infants or young children. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure prompt response to emergencies. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities. Excellent classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and nurturing caregiving abilities. Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions among infants. Effective communication skills for collaborating with parents, caregivers, and team members about each child's progress and needs. Join us in shaping the earliest moments of a child's life! Pay:
