Full Job Description Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment for infants to 13 year-olds.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom.
• Assist in the maintenance of recordkeeping and reporting systems to ensure accurate information, with timely completion and follow-up.
• As needed, provide education services to children and families using virtual learning platforms as needed.
• This individual promotes and provides culturally competent client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicities, cultures, and other diversity-related factors.
• Support the learning experiences that advance the intellectual and physical development of children while establishing a safe, healthy, and organized learning environment.
• The Teacher provides leadership to staff and promotes a sense of agency with co-workers.
• They complete documentation and reports and always assure the safety of State and Federal compliance.

• High School Diploma/GED Qualifications
• Must have High school diploma
• Associate degree preferred with Early Childhood Credit
• 2 years of supervisory experience working in a classroom setting
• Must meet current Mosaic Early Learning Mandates
• Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday (times may vary)
• Must be flexible to work on Saturday or Sunday 2pm-10:30pm Experience
• Some experience preferred, Head Start/Teaching experience a plus. Preferred Experience
• Driver's License
• 2+ years of direct experience with children birth to 13 and their families
• 1+ year of Head Start experience.
