Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Experience working with children in an educational setting, especially as a paraprofessional, is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, students, and other staff members Adaptability and patience to assist students with diverse learning needs Ability to follow teacher plans and directions while maintaining a safe, encouraging atmosphere High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or relevant coursework in education is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers by providing individual or small-group support to students Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and learning Support students with special needs according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans, under supervision of certified staff Help manage classroom activities, organization, and behavioral interventions when necessary Contribute to implementing lesson plans and adapting instructional materials as directed Supervise students during classroom, lunch, and recreational activities, ensuring their well-being Individuals enthusiastic about education and committed to making a tangible difference will find this role highly rewarding.
