Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school support role Flexibility to manage diapering and hygiene care for younger students Familiarity with supporting students exhibiting behavioral needs, especially at the elementary level Teacher Assistants must hold current state certification Teacher Aides are not required to have certification Completion of manager references is required prior to interviewing

Primary Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide instructional and behavioral support Assist with personal care needs, including diapering for younger children Help create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Implement teacher-directed activities and offer one-on-one support to students as needed Monitor and encourage appropriate student behavior Foster a nurturing atmosphere for all learners
