Job Description

Assistant Teacher - Immediate Openings (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Location:
290 Broadway, Lynbrook, NY 11563 Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young children? We are seeking dedicated, caring, and professional individuals to join our team as Assistant Teachers at our Lynbrook location. The successful candidate is able to work throughout the entire center, supporting infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed. Flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff across all age groups are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children while helping to create a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
Available Positions Full-Time:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00
PM Part-Time:
Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-6:00 PM OR Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 9:00-6:00 Qualifications High school diploma required Minimum of one year of experience working with children Infant and toddler experience required Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for early childhood education and child development Responsibilities Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities and play Assist in implementing curriculum and daily classroom activities Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment Collaborate with lead teachers and team members Complete daily reports and app-based documentation Assist with diapering, feeding, supervision, and classroom routines Support children's developmental and educational goals Benefits for Full-Time Employees Up to 10 paid vacation/personal days annually 9 paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Paid continuing education opportunities Child Development Associate (CDA) sponsorship through EIP Discounted tuition for employees' children (infants through age 5) Employee and student referral bonuses Compensation Salary is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
