1:1 Aide / Substitute Teaching Assistant Learning Together is a highly regarded preschool program serving children with and without special needs in an integrated preschool setting. Children 2.9 through 4.5 years old are taught by an early childhood Special Education Teacher with a team of 2 Teaching Assistants. Learning Together , in Montgomery NY is currently seeking 1:1 Aides & Substitute Teaching Assistants for employment. The work schedule is 8:15-3:00 for 1:1 Aides & 8:15 - 2:45 for Subs. Our 1:1 Aides work 5 days a week in alignment with our school calendar. 1:1 Aides support one child with a disability throughout the school day.

Preferred qualifications:

Previous work with children Knowledge of strategies for working with children with disabilities Strong work ethic, excellent attendance and timeliness Capability to take direction from lead teacher and support a student throughout the work day Willingness to be trained and assist the lead teacher in data collection Ability to support classroom management and developmental needs of students Professional and Personal References required Learning Together is located at 228 Ward St. Montgomery, NY.
