Key Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or similar role within a school setting Experience supporting elementary-aged children, especially those with diverse learning or physical needs Comfort with basic technology and ability to facilitate online sessions, including troubleshooting common virtual learning challenges Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with students and staff Reliability and professionalism, maintaining a nurturing and safe school environment A genuine passion for supporting student development and inclusion Ability to work full-time, 30 hours per week, on a consistent schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in classroom activities, reinforcing lessons and teacher instructions Facilitate virtual occupational therapy sessions in coordination with the OT provider Offer individualized or small group support to students as directed by teachers and therapists Monitor student engagement and well-being during remote and in-person sessions Collaborate with school personnel to adapt materials and strategies for unique student needs Document student progress and maintain confidentiality at all times This position runs from ASAP through June 24, 2027, making it ideal for those seeking a stable, long-term contract in a collaborative educational environment.
