Job Description

Full-Time Special Education Teacher Aide Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Special Education Teacher Aide to support students with diverse learning needs. This role involves providing classroom assistance to ensure an inclusive and effective educational environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with special education teachersand other staff to support student success and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Duties Provide classroom support in special education settings, assisting student with their daily activities and educational tasks Assist with behavioral management Supervise student during classroom activities, breaks, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor student progress and address any challenges Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for all students Skills Strong understanding of special education principles and classroom support techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and staff Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students with diverse needs Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to student success
Pay:
$17.69 per hour Expected hours: 32.5 per week
