Job Description

About us Lucia's Daycare is a small business in West Islip, NY. We are professional, creative and rewarding. Due to our small group of children we offer a personal touch to the families we serve. We are appreciated by them since most of our recruitment is thru referrals. We have been in business for 15 years proudly serving our community. We offer a pleasant working enviroment and paid time off. We are looking for an experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children and be able to create a fun and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing age-appropriate activities, providing feedback to parents, and ensuring the safety of all children in their care. We are looking for someone who is patient, organized, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Create a safe and nurturing environment for children. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities for children. Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner. Maintain records of children's progress and development. Communicate with parents about their child's development. Ensure the safety of the children at all times. Provide guidance and support to other staff members.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
