In person Join Precision Edge Staffing as an Assistant Teacher. We're looking for a caring, dependable, and qualified Infant 1 Assistant Teacher . The Infant 1 classroom serves children approximately 6 weeks through 12 months of age . We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with infants and understands the importance of providing safe, nurturing, and attentive care in an early childhood setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an early childhood professional who enjoys working with infants and can step into a classroom while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Safely supervise and care for infants ages 6 weeks-12 months Assist with feeding, diapering, comforting, and daily infant routines Safely lift and carry infants as needed Follow all safe-sleep practices and procedures Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom ratios Maintain a clean and sanitary classroom environment Support the classroom teacher with daily routines and activities Follow all licensing, health, safety, and center requirements Communicate professionally with classroom staff Qualifications Required Must meet CPL Level 1 or CDA requirements Completed and approved background check Must be qualified and comfortable working with infants Ability to safely lift, carry, feed, diaper, and supervise infants Ability to follow all safe-sleep, sanitation, supervision, ratio, licensing, and center requirements Must be dependable and available for the full assignment Preferred Previous infant or early childhood classroom experience Current CPR and First Aid certification CPL Level 1 or higher Completion of required health and safety training Skills for Success Patient, nurturing, and attentive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependability and professionalism Ability to follow established classroom routines and safety procedures Ability to work calmly and effectively in an infant classroom
