Infant Assistant Teacher Nurture and Grow Learning Center Garfield Heights, OH Job Details Full-time $16 - $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications CPR Certification First aid First Aid Certification Teaching experience with young children Infant care Full Job Description The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a loving, safe, and stimulating environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months. You'll plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum and Early Learning Development Standards while fostering each child's development and sense of security. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement daily lesson plans that promote growth in cognitive, social, and physical development. Maintain consistent routines that support infants' feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules. Communicate daily with parents regarding their child's progress and needs. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that meets state licensing and Step Up To Quality standards. Observe, assess, and document each child's development. Supervise and guide assistant teachers in the infant classroom. Qualifications CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or working toward one). Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting. Strong understanding of infant milestones and responsive caregiving practices. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). A positive, patient, and nurturing attitude toward children and families
