Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant childcare team as a Childcare Staff member, Lead, Substitute, Assistant Teacher, or Float! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Whether leading a classroom, supporting teaching staff, or providing flexible coverage across different groups, your energy and dedication will help foster early childhood development and joyful learning experiences. Paid positions are available for all levels, including internships, ensuring you gain valuable hands-on experience in early childhood education. Duties Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development instruction and early learning milestones Support classroom management by maintaining positive behavior management strategies and fostering a respectful environment Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to build strong partnerships Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care for infants and toddlers in compliance with health and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of children's activities, developmental progress, and incident reports following mandated reporting laws Collaborate with team members to create inclusive learning environments that support children with disabilities or special needs Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and childhood development principles Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure quick response to emergencies Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom experience, behavior management techniques, and classroom management tools Strong communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Ability to work flexibly as a Lead, Substitute, Assistant Teacher or Float across different classrooms as needed Commitment to creating a safe environment through adherence to daycare experience standards and mandated reporting laws Join us in making a difference in young lives!
