Job Description

This position will be working both in the library and assist teachers in the classroom.

Answers to:

Building Principal, Librarian, Special Services Director. Must have Qualifications before start date: Special Services Director can assist with getting these done 1. High School Diploma or GED required. 2. Satisfy Every Student Succeeds Act requirements by : a. Completed at least 2 years of study (48 hrs.) at an institution of higher ed, or b. Hold an associate's degree or higher, or c. Obtained a National Career Readiness Certificate through successful completion of the ACT, WorkKeys assessment, or passed the Paraprofessional Assessment Test - Passing Score is 455, or d. Passed the Oklahoma General Education (OGET) Test. 3. Complete and maintain training and skills in Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid. 4. Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship. 5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
