Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including toddler care, preschool routines, and Montessori-inspired methods. Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities such as autism or other developmental delays. Help facilitate classroom transitions, snack times, nap times, and other routines essential for young children's well-being. Collaborate with team members on curriculum development and lesson planning to ensure engaging and educational experiences for all students. Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and cleanup to maintain an inviting learning space. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities. Support inclusive practices by working closely with children from various backgrounds and abilities, including those requiring behavior management strategies or additional support. Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments. Knowledge of special education strategies and working with children with autism or disabilities. Proficiency in lesson planning across literacy education, math, social skills, and curriculum development. Excellent classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings as a floater while maintaining consistency in teaching quality. Effective communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and team members. Familiarity with behavior management techniques tailored for early learners.
