Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher Aide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, and meal times to ensure safety and positive behavior Engage children in educational activities that promote childhood development, including reading, writing, counting, and creative play Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom events to foster strong home-school connections Use educational technologies such as computers and tablets to enhance learning experiences for students Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized strategies in collaboration with lead teachers and specialists Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom behavior management techniques Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents in a team-oriented environment Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to be obtained upon hire Strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing attitude are essential for success in this role Join us in shaping the future by supporting young learners' growth through engaging activities, compassionate supervision, and collaborative teamwork. Pay:
$14.75 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
