Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children in our toddler classroom. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster developmental growth, promote positive behavior, and ensure each child's needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while developing your skills in childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for toddlers Support children with daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Supervise children closely to ensure safety and proper behavior management within the classroom environment Engage children through play, storytelling, music, and other interactive activities to stimulate learning and curiosity Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages independence and exploration Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols to ensure a safe and compliant setting for children Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in First Aid and CPR (including Pediatric First Aid) is highly desirable; willingness to obtain upon hire if not already certified Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and individual needs Join us as a Toddler Teacher Assistant and be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing the next generation of learners! Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
