Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early childhood development, ensuring each child's unique needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through engaging activities and positive interactions Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times Help manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior management strategies to maintain a structured environment Provide basic first aid when necessary and communicate any health concerns to supervising staff Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and support inclusive learning environments Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain upon hire is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management positively and effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and children Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth in a caring environment Join us in shaping bright futures!
