Mi Escuelita Preschool is hiring a caring, dependable Teacher Assistant to support our Montessori/Waldorf-inspired Spanish immersion program during the afternoon hours. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with young children in a creative, hands-on, nature-based environment.

Requirements :

Must be 18 years or older Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Dependable, nurturing, and able to follow a routine Available Monday through Friday, 11:00AM-6:00

PM Responsibilities :

Assist with lunch, nap time, snack, and afternoon classroom routines. Supervise children while providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Lead or assist with group activities, art, music, story time, and outdoor play. Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth using positive guidance. Help maintain a clean, organized, and prepared classroom, including daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Communicate professionally with families during afternoon pick-up. Follow all health, safety, licensing, and preschool policies. Collaborate with the teaching team and complete other duties as needed to support the classroom. Please Read Carefully Mi Escuelita is a full-day, Spanish-immersion school serving children ages 2-5. We are looking for a dependable, engaged, and committed team member who wants to contribute to a consistent, nurturing learning environment. This is not a babysitting position. Our days are active, structured, and hands-on. Teachers participate in learning activities, support children's independence, guide behavior, assist with toileting and hygiene, prepare and clean the classroom, spend time outdoors in varying weather, and work as a team to maintain a high-quality school environment. We are looking for someone who understands that working in early childhood education requires patience, initiative, professionalism, consistency, and a genuine commitment to the team. Reliability is essential. Our children, families, and fellow teachers depend on every team member showing up on time, being prepared, communicating professionally, and following through on their responsibilities.
