This part-time position offers morning hours from 7:45 am to 11:45 am Monday-Thursday + every other Friday, providing a dynamic environment to assist classroom teachers in creating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning experiences. Your role will be vital in fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, promoting literacy and math skills, and ensuring every student receives personalized attention to thrive academically and socially. Duties Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing curriculum tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy and math activities. Support classroom management by helping maintain a structured, safe, and nurturing environment conducive to learning. Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, including those with special needs or disabilities such as autism or other developmental challenges. Aid in supervising students during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor play to promote positive behavior and engagement. Help facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents by observing student progress and participating in team meetings. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning centers, and maintaining a clean learning environment. Collaborate with teachers on behavior management strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or early childhood programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children across diverse backgrounds in a nurturing manner. Pay:
