Child Development Cleaning Full Job Description Hours:
This schedule has two options and will be decided once we have found the right candidate and based on their availability!
The two schedules are:
1. Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30pm 2. M, T, Th, F 7:30am-6:00pm. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Preschool Teacher who is passionate about working with children and thrives in a team-oriented, relationship-driven environment. In this role, you will partner closely with lead teachers and co-teachers to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and parental leave Employee discounts Tuition reimbursement Retirement plan options Roles & ResponsibilitiesBuilding Relationships & Community Develop strong, trusting relationships with children through consistent care, responsiveness, and intentional interactions Create a warm, welcoming environment where each child feels safe, seen, and valued Build respectful, professional partnerships with families through daily communication, active listening, and collaboration Work closely with co-teachers and lead teachers to maintain a cohesive, supportive, and respectful team dynamic Contribute to a positive classroom and center culture rooted in collaboration, communication, and mutual respect Supporting Children's Development Support the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children through play-based learning and guided experiences Model positive behavior, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills Observe and respond to children's individual needs, interests, and developmental stages Maintaining Classroom Routines & Function Help establish and maintain consistent daily routines that provide structure, predictability, and comfort for toddlers Support smooth transitions between activities such as meals, naps, outdoor play, and group time Assist in setting up, organizing, and resetting the classroom throughout the day to ensure it remains functional and engaging Ensuring Health, Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment at all times Follow all licensing regulations, health protocols, and safety procedures Supervise children actively and attentively to ensure their safety and well-being Respond appropriately to emergencies and support established safety procedures Professionalism & Growth Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and families Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a dynamic classroom environment Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and team meetings Reflect on practices and actively contribute to continuous improvement within the classroom and center Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience (informal or formal) A genuine passion for working with young children and building meaningful relationships Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain patience, consistency, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Understanding of (or willingness to learn) child development and best practices in early childhood education Application Requirement Please include a brief summary of your experience working with children, specifically with children ages 3-5 years old.
