9689471-54814 Job Description Step into an exciting opportunity to support high school students as a dedicated paraprofessional! This full-time contract position offers you the chance to make a significant impact in a classroom environment while working alongside passionate educators. With 37.5 hours per week and a schedule running from ASAP through June 4th, you'll become an essential part of the students' academic journey.
Key Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred Confidence supporting high school-aged students Ability to assist students with varying academic and behavioral needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers and staff Adaptability and a caring approach in dynamic classroom situations High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing consistent classroom support to teachers and students Assisting in instruction, small group activities, and individual student guidance Helping implement academic modifications and accommodations as directed by classroom teachers Encouraging positive social and emotional development for students Monitoring student progress and offering feedback Facilitating classroom organization and supporting instructional materials Fostering an engaging, inclusive, and respectful learning environment This position provides valuable hands-on experience in education and the opportunity to enrich the school community while advancing your career.
