9670905-53508 Job Description Step into a meaningful educational support role assisting students and staff in elementary or middle school settings near Belleville, WI. Several contract paraprofessional opportunities are available, each dedicated to fostering student growth and positive classroom experiences. Your contributions as a Special Education Aide will help create an inclusive atmosphere where every learner thrives. We're seeking engaged professionals to fill three unique positions: Two elementary school roles involve supporting instructional and behavioral needs in both general and special education classrooms, as well as supervising recess and cafeteria activities. One middle school role focuses on assisting in diverse classroom settings and meeting the unique needs of students with Autism, Emotional Behavior Disabilities, and/or Learning Disabilities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, flexible, and eager to collaborate with teachers and other support staff. Direct experience with students who have Autism, Emotional Behavior Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and/or Learning Disabilities is highly valued.
Requirements:
Must have, or be eligible for, a Special Education Aide license from the Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Recent professional references within the past three years preferred. Adaptability to work in both regular and special education settings. Strong communication, observation, and team collaboration skills. Comfort supervising students during non-instructional times, such as recess or lunch.
Schedules:
35 hours/week, MondayFriday (Elementary) 28 hours/week, MondayThursday (Elementary) 37.5 hours/week, MondayFriday (Middle School) These roles offer the chance to make a real impact while gaining valuable experience in an encouraging and rewarding school environment.
