Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and reliable
School Aides (Paraprofessionals)
to support students and teachers throughout the school year in the Beloit, WI area. This role is ideal for candidates interested in
education, special education, behavioral support, childcare, child development, and student success
. As a School Aide/Paraprofessional, you will provide classroom support, assist with student learning and behavior management, and help create a positive and inclusive educational environment.

$20.00 per hour +
Schedule:
35 hours per week + Full school-year assignment + Weekly Pay + Benefits Available
Responsibilities
+ Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily educational activities + Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students + Reinforce lessons and assist students with assignments + Support students with academic tasks, behavior management, and social skills development + Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, playgrounds, and other school settings + Assist with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials + Help implement IEP accommodations and modifications under teacher direction + Monitor student progress and behavior and communicate observations to school staff + Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment + Assist students with mobility, personal care, or other basic needs as required + Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators •Minimum Qualifications•+ High School Diploma or GED required + Associate Degree required •OR•willingness to take and pass the •Master Teacher's Paraprofessional Assessment•+ Must hold or be eligible to obtain a •Wisconsin DPI Paraprofessional License•+ Ability to pass required background screenings + Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills + Ability to work effectively with children in a school setting •Amergis will provide guidance throughout the DPI licensing process.

+ School Aide or Paraprofessional experience + Teacher Assistant or Educational Assistant experience + Special Education experience + Behavioral Support experience + Autism support experience + Pediatric experience + Childcare or youth development experience + Experience supporting students with disabilities + One-on-one student support experience + Classroom management experience
