Previous childcare or classroom experience is helpful, but we are also happy to consider individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us. What You'll Do Support the lead teacher in creating a positive and respectful classroom environment. Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities. Assist children with daily routines and classroom activities. Observe children and help document their progress, interests, and routines. Communicate important information about children with teachers and families. Help prepare and serve meals and snacks. Help keep the classroom, materials, and outdoor spaces clean, organized, and welcoming. Support a calm, orderly environment where children can develop independence and confidence. Follow health, safety, and classroom procedures. What We're Looking For A genuine love and respect for young children. Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependability and a willingness to be part of a team. The ability to stand, bend, lift, and move comfortably throughout the day. Ability to obtain CPR certification. Ability to successfully complete required background screening. Previous experience working with children is a plus, but not required . Schedule This is a part-time position , with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday within our hours of operation, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM .
