Pay:

$16.21 - $17.88 per hour Job description: CESA 7 Head Start 0-5 is seeking a caring and dedicated Assistant Teacher to float between the two classrooms at our Two Rivers Center. This position is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has a passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development in an early childhood classroom. We are looking for individuals who have experience guiding young children in a preschool setting or who are eager to learn and develop their skills in early childhood education. Qualifications:

High school diploma or

GED/HSED

required. Willingness to complete additional training, if needed, to meet child care licensing requirements. Must be willing to begin working toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or start coursework toward an associate degree in Early Childhood Education within one year of hire. Applicants with a CDA, an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or experience working in Head Start, 4K, or a licensed child care center will receive hiring preference. Parents of young children who are currently enrolled in or have previously attended Head Start are encouraged to apply. This is a school-year position serving children ages 3-5 in our Two Rivers Head Start classrooms. Two Rivers Center:

3234 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers - Mon-Thursday 7:30am-1:30pm, Friday 8:00am-11:00am.
