Bright Bloom Learning provides personalized tutoring to help PK-12 students grow with confidence. We support learners with a variety of academic needs, including students with learning differences, IEPs, and Section 504 plans. We are seeking dependable, engaging, and student-centered tutors who are passionate about helping students reach their full potential. Position Overview The ideal candidate is a certified teacher or experienced educator who can deliver individualized instruction based on each student's academic needs, learning style, and goals. Tutors may work with students in reading, writing, mathematics, study skills, test preparation, and other areas aligned with their qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator seeking flexible, part-time work outside traditional classroom hours. Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring to students in grades PK-12. Deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, mathematics, and other qualified subject areas, including algebra when appropriate. Adapt instructional strategies to meet students' individual learning needs. Support students with learning differences, IEPs, and Section 504 accommodations as appropriate. Monitor student progress and communicate relevant updates to the business owner. Maintain accurate session notes and document instructional activities in the designated platform. Prepare appropriate instructional materials and activities. Communicate professionally with families and the Bright Bloom Learning team. Maintain student confidentiality and follow all applicable privacy requirements. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and a commitment to student success.

Qualifications Required:

Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or tutoring setting. Strong communication, organization, and instructional skills. Dependability and the ability to work independently. A commitment to student confidentiality and professional conduct. Reliable transportation for in-person assignments, when applicable.

Preferred:

Current or eligible teaching certification. Experience teaching or tutoring students in grades PK-12. Experience supporting students with disabilities, learning differences, IEPs, or Section 504 plans. Knowledge of differentiated instruction and evidence-based teaching strategies. Experience with reading intervention, mathematics instruction, or academic remediation. Familiarity with virtual instruction and online educational platforms. Schedule Tutoring assignments are based on student needs and tutor availability. Most opportunities will be during weekday afternoons and evenings, with some Saturday availability. Tutors must communicate their availability clearly and honor confirmed tutoring appointments. Student assignments and hours may vary.
