Our teachers walk in, teach engaging, pre-planned lessons, make a difference, and walk out when their shift is over. What You'll Do Teach reading and literacy to students of varying ages and skill levels. Deliver pre-planned, engaging lessons in small groups of up to 4 students. Build student confidence through encouragement and positive reinforcement. Monitor student progress and communicate important observations to Center staff. Complete Sylvan training and certification for the programs you teach. Participate in occasional staff meetings and professional development. You'd Be a Great Fit If… You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent . You have a current or expired teaching certification. You have a strong understanding of reading, phonics, and comprehension.
