We'd love to meet you. Auburn Tutoring is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic High School & Upper-Level Math Tutor to join our team! We're a community-focused tutoring center that believes learning should be encouraging, engaging, and personalized. Our goal isn't just to help students get the right answer — it's to help them build the skills and confidence to tackle challenging work independently. A Few Important Things Up Front What We're Looking For We need someone who is confident tutoring 8th-grade math through Calculus , including: Algebra Integrated 1-3 Geometry Algebra II Trigonometry Pre-Calculus Calculus You Might Be a Great Fit If You... Genuinely enjoy working with middle and high school students Have previous math tutoring or teaching experience Can make intimidating math feel approachable Are patient, encouraging, dependable, and positive Know how to keep students engaged and on task Can adjust your teaching style for different learners Are comfortable supporting students with learning differences and accommodations Believe confidence is just as important as getting the correct answer About Auburn Tutoring Auburn Tutoring is a community-oriented tutoring center serving students across ages, subjects, and ability levels. We've worked hard to create a positive, collaborative, and supportive environment for both our students and our team. We believe great tutoring is about more than homework help. It's about building foundational skills, teaching students how to think through challenges, and helping them become increasingly confident and independent learners.
Pay:
$23.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 15.0 per week Application Question(s): Are you prepared to take an on the spot math assessment on the first interview?
