About the student 1st grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with reading, writing, and math. The family is asking for a tutor who is bilingual in Spanish & English as the school is a DLI (Dual Language Immersion) school. Family would prefer a tutor/teacher who has lots of experience. The student is a 1st grader attending Ecke Central Elementary School. The school is a dual language immersion school for Spanish & English. The student would like help with homework, understanding concepts in math & ELA, and test prep. The goal is for the student to grow and master her basic skills in reading, writing, and math. The family wants 1 hour sessions once a week, either between 3pm-5pm on Monday or Wednesday or between 8am-11am on Sunday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Encinitas not far from Leucadia Oaks Park. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary school students. Ideal candidates will be bilingual in Spanish & English. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring math and ELA skills. Ideal candidates will be a credentialed teacher. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability
