Duties Deliver engaging online or in-person tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs across various subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, and science. Develop and implement customized curricula that align with educational standards and student learning styles. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly. Support students with SAT preparation tutoring and specialized instruction for students with learning differences or in need of special education services. Foster a positive classroom environment by managing behavior effectively and encouraging active participation. Communicate clearly with students, parents, and educators to track progress and set achievable goals for each learner. Experience Proven experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting, including tutoring or classroom teaching. Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds. Strong background in curriculum development across core subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, and science. Experience using learning technology platforms for online instruction and student assessment. Knowledge of instructional adaptability techniques for students with special needs or learning differences. Familiarity with teaching English language arts and writing skills at the K-8 level. Prior experience preparing students for standardized tests like the SAT is a plus.
