Job Description

Make a real difference in students' success! Firefly Tutors, established since 2004, is seeking passionate individuals for a fun, flexible, and rewarding part-time tutoring role. Firefly Tutors is hiring a Reading Tutor for a second grader

Pay:

$35/hour

Commitment:

1-2 hours per week to start, up to 10 hours In-home Some daytime weekday hours Start immediately Continue tutoring through the 26/27 school year

Location:

Lancaster CA, 93535 and surrounding areas Ideal tutor candidate must have/be: Bachelor's degree or above FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor Versed in K - 6 curriculum instruction for English language arts 1-2 years of experience working with students Responsibilities Provide individual tutoring in English language arts to enhance student understanding and performance Identify how students learn best Implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
