Job Responsibilities:

As a Math Lead Instructor / Lead Tutor, you will: Teach and tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Provide instruction across the full curriculum range, from elementary and middle school foundations through Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics Serve as the on-floor resource for upper-level math questions, modeling effective instruction for newer team members Deliver both Private Learning and Group Learning sessions, adapting your approach to each student's needs Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a Group Learning setting Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Qualifications:

Our ideal Math Lead Instructor / Lead Tutor brings: Exceptional math competency through Algebra II, with proficiency through Precalculus or Calculus strongly preferred Coursework or a degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science, economics, or a related quantitative field Ability to communicate advanced mathematical concepts clearly and at an age-appropriate level Prior tutoring, teaching, or peer-instruction experience preferred Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Ability to balance various ongoing tasks Comfort working in both Private Learning and Group Learning formats All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
