We specialize in working with neurodivergent students (K-12), providing individualized tutoring and intervention that addresses academic skills, executive functioning, and social-emotional well-being. Our holistic, student-centered approach ensures that learning feels safe, empowering, and meaningful. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Intervention Specialist (potentially some day time hours, majority after school hours 3-7pm) to provide literacy and math tutoring for neurodivergent students in grades K-12. The ideal candidate is not only strong in evidence-based academic intervention but also excels at building authentic, trusting relationships with students. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt instruction to each child's unique strengths and needs. Responsibilities Provide individualized literacy, math, and executive functioning intervention for students (K-12) . Create and adapt lesson plans tailored to students' learning profiles and goals Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel safe and motivated. Collaborate with families and, when appropriate, teachers to support student progress. Track and communicate student growth in both academic and social-emotional areas. Qualifications Experience teaching, tutoring, or providing academic interventions to special education/neurodivergent K-12 students. Deep understanding of literacy and math development and intervention strategies. Exceptional relationship-building skills; ability to connect with students through empathy, patience, and creativity. Flexible, growth-oriented mindset and commitment to individualized education. Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred). Why Join Us?
