Kumon of Hamden, CT Part-Time Positions:
Classroom Assistant & Front Desk Receptionist Kumon Math and Reading Center in Hamden, CT, is looking for dependable, organized, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team! If you enjoy working with children and want to contribute to their learning and development, we would love to hear from you.
Work Schedule:
Monday:
3:00 PM
•7:00
PM Thursday:
3:00 PM
•7:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM
•12:00 PM Position 1:
Classroom Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist students with their math and reading classwork. Grade worksheets and identify errors for students to correct. Guide students when needed while encouraging independent learning. Help maintain an organized and positive classroom environment. Support daily classroom activities.
Qualifications:
Strong math and reading skills. Patience and an interest in working with children. Attention to detail and a positive attitude. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Position 2:
Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and assist parents with general inquiries. Welcome students and parents to the center. Prepare student folders and organize classwork for daily sessions. Perform data entry and maintain accurate student records. Assist with general administrative tasks and keep materials organized.
Qualifications:
Good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and accuracy with data entry. Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. Ability to multitask in a busy educational environment. What We're Looking For Reliable and responsible team members. Individuals who enjoy working in an educational setting. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Previous experience is a plus but not required.
